President of the national assembly of Cameroon visits the National Assembly Building Project
Recently, on the eve of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Cameroon, Wang Yingwu, Ambassador to Cameroon, and kavaye, speaker of the national assembly of Cameroon, jointly inspected the project of China's assistance to the National Assembly Building of Cameroon participated by the group. Diodor, vice speaker of the national assembly, mbera, Minister of foreign relations, Wakata, minister in charge of parliamentary relations of the presidential palace, Kumba, Secretary General of the national assembly, and Guo Jianjun, commercial counselor of the embassy, accompanied the inspection.
Wang Yingwu said that since the establishment of diplomatic ties 50 years ago, China and Cameroon have achieved fruitful cooperation in various fields. The project of assisting the National Assembly Building in Cameroon is a concrete measure taken by China to implement the consensus of the leaders of the two countries and the ten major cooperation plans between China and Africa. It is a vivid embodiment of the traditional friendship and cooperation between China and Cameroon. China is willing to work with Cameroon to make the project a new symbol of China Cameroon friendship. Speaker kawaye, deputy speaker diodor and foreign minister mbera spoke highly of the friendly and cooperative relations between China and Cameroon over the past 50 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations. They expressed their heartfelt thanks for China's assistance in the construction of the National Assembly Building and its long-term selfless support and assistance to Cameroon. They expressed the hope that the fruitful results of China Cameroon cooperation have brought tangible benefits to the two peoples. They expressed the hope that the two countries will continue to deepen friendly cooperation and promote China Cameroon relations to a new level. During the visit to the project site, the guests fully affirmed the project construction.
The National Assembly building project in Cameroon is the largest project in Cameroon assisted by China. It is located in Yaound é, the capital of Cameroon in Africa. It includes semi-circular conference hall and auxiliary rooms, celebration hall, office building and other functional rooms, as well as squares, roads, fountains, outdoor parking lots, fences and other auxiliary facilities outside the building. The construction land area of the project is 64031 ㎡ and the construction area is 41147 ㎡. The construction is planned to be completed in 2023. The on-site management team participated in the construction of the group overcame adverse factors such as differences in culture and regional habits and the continuous intensification of the local epidemic, adhered to epidemic prevention and production on the one hand, and strictly closed construction management, so as to ensure zero infection of the on-site epidemic and effectively ensure the orderly progress of construction tasks.
