In 2006, Chen Guoyi took the team for the first time as the engineering director of the Eastern District Project of the National Olympic Village. "At that time, the National Olympic Village was a major project for many construction units. The company's request to us was to'protect two and compete for one' in the same competition '." Chen Guoyi said.

Chen Guoyi led a quality officer and a technician to dominate the bid section. Regarding how to achieve this result, Chen Guoyi said frankly: "If you want a prize, everyone will take it together; if you want to punish, everyone will carry it together." For Chen Guoyi, the concept of "co-prosperity and symbiosis" allows managers and construction personnel to twist into a rope and rush forward with all their strength.

What makes Chen Guoyi have no worries is the military culture, result culture, competition culture, sunshine culture, learning culture and tolerance culture that the enterprise insists on following. Heavy awards, heavy penalties, clear and transparent. From technician, foreman, engineering supervisor to project manager, Chen Guoyi's progress can be described as one step a year. At the age of 26, he became the youngest project manager in the company.

Results-oriented clear team direction

For Chen Guoyi, he is not only the beneficiary of teamwork, but also the practitioner of shaping "result-oriented.

Chen Guoyi Project Management Department has a total of 46 employees, including 7 party members, with an average age of 30, and 21 have intermediate professional titles, senior professional titles and construction engineer qualification certificates.

In the project of Beijing No.1 Experimental School, facing the time node requirements put forward by the owner, Chen Guoyi is well aware of the complementary relationship between project progress performance and technological innovation. He closely combines the two to jointly promote the successful implementation of the project. "With tight schedules and heavy tasks, we need to refine the application-oriented innovative technology system, actively leverage the advantages of internal and external collaboration, and promote the linkage between technology and production." Chen Guoyi said.

The project management department integrates advanced construction technology and efficient construction organization plan into the design, and through design guidance, collaborative planning, overall management, and integration of resources, it maximizes collaboration with different specialties and different sub-items. It took only 7 days from receiving the task to entering the construction site. Facing the current situation of drawings, team members squatted on the spot to review and push forward, and implemented three shifts 24 hours a day. Each member has his own irreplaceable position, no wrangling, no prevarication. "Results culture" is common in the team.

In the end, the project management department realized the whole process from foundation slab construction to fine decoration in only one year. At the same time, the project won the national construction project construction safety production standardization site, China steel structure gold award, Beijing structure, construction "Great Wall Cup" gold award and other honors, as well as four scientific and technological innovation patent achievements.

In the construction of the Shibalidian project in Jinyu, the team members pushed back the construction plan with the results and creatively pushed forward the municipal supporting facilities and fine decoration simultaneously. In the preliminary planning, the project management department determined the strategy of centralized attack on the garage floor, and used it as the site for storing decorative materials. At the same time, the elevator installation in the building and the secondary structure were constructed at the same time. After the main body of the structure is completed, the decoration materials can be transported through the elevator in the building. The external municipal supporting projects are also started simultaneously to realize that the two do not affect each other. This alone will speed up the construction period by 3 months.

Self-management with team "non-intervention"

As the person in charge of managing multiple projects, Chen Guoyi said frankly that he has his own management method, that is, reasonable authorization and empowerment.

"No intervention" is not the same as laissez-faire. There is an open secret in various projects of Chen Guoyi's project management department, that is, Chen Guoyi is used to making sudden "attacks". Every day, Chen Guoyi will go to different project sites for surprise inspections from time to time. This practice has virtually formed the most effective management of the project. Chen Guoyi also gives full play to the subjective initiative of the team, carries out independent management, and gradually enriches the cultural system of the team.

Kui Zhibin, project manager of Jinyu Shibalidian, joined the project management department in 2021. As a project manager with a technical background, Lu Zhibin said: "Through learning in the team, I have gradually formed a fusion management style." While integrating into the team, Qiu Zhibin also enriched the team culture in his own way. The "night school for managers" set up by him organized professional knowledge learning every week during the busy period of the construction cycle. The old comrades and members of the project team were the main speakers. Through learning, the theoretical level and practical ability were improved. In the end, the number of members who passed the intermediate title or above in the team increased by 20%.

Chen Guoyi said: "team members should give full play to their respective advantages and jointly implant a culture suitable for the growth and development of the team. Only with the blessing of this multicultural culture can the project management department be full of vitality."

It is reported that the projects under the Chen Guoyi Project Management Department have successively won the National Construction Project Construction Safety Production Standardization Site, the 15th Second Batch of China Steel Structure Gold Award Project, Beijing Green Safety Model Site, Beijing Structural "Great Wall Cup" Gold Award, Beijing Many honors such as the "Green Card" construction site for dust control. In addition, the project management department has been established for 4 years and has declared 4 patents. Among them, the external wall construction hoisting and its construction method, building ALC wall panel electric hoisting device and its construction method obtained the invention patent.
