The handover of the Cameroon National Assembly building was successfully completed, and it was awarded the National Order of Valor by the Cameroonian government.

Recently, the construction of the Cameroon National Assembly building project, undertaken by Beijing Urban Construction Group and participated in by Beijing Urban Construction Northern Group, was successfully completed, and a grand handover ceremony was held.

Zhang Qingwei, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress; Wang Yingwu, Chinese Ambassador to Cameroon; Ngou Teyap, Prime Minister of Cameroon; and Cavaye Yeguié Djibril, Speaker of the National Assembly, attended the ceremony. Zhang Suoquan, Deputy General Manager of Beijing Urban Construction Group; Hu Xiaohua, Deputy General Manager of the International Business Department of Beijing Urban Construction Group; Zhao Changrong, Project Executive Manager of Northern Group; and Liu Jianbo, Chief Engineer of Northern Group project, also participated in the event. Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV) provided live coverage of the event, and numerous authoritative media outlets, including Xinhua News Agency and Cameroon Tribune, also focused on reporting the event, jointly witnessing this historic moment.

Diodor, Vice Speaker of the Cameroon National Assembly, highly praised the profound friendship between China and Cameroon at the ceremony and emotionally stated that China has always been a trustworthy friend, brother, and partner of Cameroon. He particularly thanked the Chinese government for its generous donation of the new National Assembly building, a "national treasure," and expressed his sincere respect and gratitude for the hard work of the project team over the past five years.

In recognition of the outstanding achievements of the Chinese team in constructing the Cameroon National Assembly building, the Cameroonian government specially awarded the Beijing Urban Construction Group the National Order of the Knight. This honor is not only a recognition of Beijing Urban Construction Group's strength but also a testament to the profound friendship between China and Cameroon.

The Northern Group project team will uphold the spirit of national craftsmanship, continue to maintain and provide after-sales service, and actively implement technical training and exchanges with the Cameroonian side, with the aim of writing a new chapter in deepening China-Cameroon cooperation and promoting friendship between the two countries.
