Youth skills competition yields fruitful results; youth forum discusses the future
Recently, Beijing Urban Construction Northern Group held a unique youth worker competition results report and youth forum, aiming to comprehensively summarize and commend the 2023 youth worker competition, and to build a platform for young employees to engage in in-depth exchanges with group leaders. Group Chairman Wang Deguo, Executive President Lei Zhenyuan, Party Committee Vice Secretary and Chairman of the Trade Union Zhang Ying, Vice President and General Manager of the Operation Management Center Wu Dan, and General Manager of the Business Management Center Yin Pengfei attended the event.

In 2023, to actively respond to the group's call for a second entrepreneurial endeavor, the group's Youth League Committee innovated the youth worker competition model, expanding the scope of participation to multiple business areas including development, EPC, and decoration. It encouraged participating teams to independently select topics based on the theme of "Innovation for Enhanced Efficiency and Entrepreneurial Achievements." A total of 18 youth assault teams enthusiastically participated in the competition. After a year of meticulous preparation and solid advancement, 6 youth assault teams ultimately stood out in this fierce competition, achieving remarkable performance and innovative results, setting an example of hard work and struggle for the majority of young employees.

2023 Youth Worker Competition Results
First Place Liang Shengwei Youth Assault Team
The ZGC Central Village Hot Spring Science and Technology Park Phase II project, using the management concept of integrated design and construction, transformed "your work" into "our work," shifting from "learners" to "implementers" and from "construction workers" to "designers." This achieved the goals of not exceeding the budget, no rework, efficient construction, quality assurance, and project profit creation.
Second Place Yuan Yugang Youth Assault Team
The Changping Shigezhuang project, through technological empowerment, vigorously promoted the construction of a smart construction site. Utilizing core technologies such as BIM and AI big data, it integrated a smart construction site system, and through deep integration and application with the construction site, improved the scientific and standardized management level of the construction site.
Third Place Ji Tao Youth Assault Team
The Deyuan Real Estate Company Deyuan Yunjing project adopted a new media marketing model, achieving 3000+ followers on its official Douyin account, publishing 257 works, accumulating over 2.52 million views annually, and accumulating 175 customer leads through live broadcasts, resulting in 69 offline visits and 22 conversions. This effectively enhanced brand image, broadened marketing channels, and improved sales performance.
Technological Innovation Award Chang Junfeng Youth Assault Team
The Jinyu Shibali Dian Phase II project overcame the difficulties and challenges of SPCS prefabricated structure and building construction, providing technical support for subsequent prefabricated projects. By optimizing construction processes and methods, it accelerated project progress and significantly reduced costs and increased efficiency.
Collaborative Development Award Liu Liwei Youth Assault Team
The Qihe Jiuyue Mansion project of the EPC Business Department fully leveraged the management advantages of the EPC model. By establishing a Jiuyue Mansion project engineering team management model, it maximally shortened the engineering management path and improved the overall engineering management effectiveness.
Business Profit Creation Award Lü Qiang Youth Assault Team
The Wenyuan Mansion project, through in-depth research of contract clauses and outstanding archive management and secondary business capabilities, successfully claimed compensation for time, labor, and rental fees based on the contract's stipulations regarding extreme weather and force majeure, achieving improved business performance.
In the youth forum session, young employee representatives directly addressed real-world challenges and inner anxieties, expressing their feelings openly. They engaged in in-depth discussions on hot topics such as "how to position oneself, demonstrate talent and ambition in the context of enterprise transformation and development" and "how to alleviate anxiety under a severe market environment and employment pressure." Group leaders listened attentively and engaged in a sincere and frank dialogue with young employees.
In response to the various concerns of young employees, Chairman Wang Deguo provided a warm and firm response. He encouraged young employees to strive to become "multifaceted warriors," resonating with the group's transformation and development, extending from the mid-section of the industrial chain to both ends, expanding from general contracting to specialized fields, and actively exploring new boundaries in career development. Simultaneously, the group will further improve and optimize employee growth and incentive mechanisms, providing a broader development platform for young employees, allowing every employee who continues to strive to share in the fruits of the company's development.

The chairman also kindly reminded young employees to bravely face emotional challenges, adapting to circumstances, not anticipating the future, and abandoning unnecessary anxieties and worries. He advocated for self-motivation and self-discipline, improving self-cultivation and physical fitness through reading and exercise; approaching and learning from positive role models, drawing strength from their experiences.
Finally, the chairman expressed high hopes for young employees. He emphasized that young employees are the future of the company's development, hoping that everyone will remain confident, work together with the company, and move forward hand in hand. He believes that with the profound heritage of the "national craftsman" brand, flexible systems and mechanisms, and excellent corporate culture, the group will surely overcome the winter, maintain steady progress, and create new glories.
