Group Design Institute wins new bid!

Recently, Beijing Urban Construction Northern Group Design Institute, with its outstanding design capabilities and innovative concepts, successfully won a bid in a fierce competition for the Miyun Reservoir Disaster Prevention and Mitigation and Water Storage Capacity Improvement Project—the construction project of resettlement housing in the Zoumazhuang area of Xiongzhuang Town.

The project is located in the east-central part of Xiongzhuang Town, Miyun District, Beijing, adjacent to the south line of the reservoir. With a total construction area of 185,500 square meters, it is planned to create a low-density, green living environment. The project contract value is 22.08 million yuan.

The project design scheme cleverly integrates natural and humanistic elements, making full use of the terrain advantages. It carefully plans six residential areas and multiple buildings, with buildings and green spaces interspersed to achieve a balance between privacy and openness. The "people-oriented" concept runs through the design, with diverse and customized apartment types to fully cover various resettlement needs. Meanwhile, the traffic planning adopts a separation of pedestrian and vehicular traffic, with complete parking facilities to ensure safe and convenient travel. In terms of landscape design, respecting the natural ecology, the central landscape area is exquisitely designed with scenery for all four seasons, and delicate decorative features create a poetic and idyllic living atmosphere.

In 2024, the Group Design Institute actively explored and expanded into a multi-faceted market across the entire industrial chain, proactively approaching customers and leveraging its design expertise to achieve good results, with a total of 22 projects won throughout the year, involving various product types. In the future, the Group Design Institute will uphold the design concept of "wisdom+", be innovation-driven, strengthen its professional capabilities, continuously improve product quality and service concepts, strengthen the Group's design business sector, contribute to the Group's transformation and upgrading, and create greater value for urban construction.
