Xi Bao's Two Projects of the Group Successfully Picked "Stars"

The National Ice and Snow Sports Training and Research Base (West District of Erqi Locomotive Factory) is located in Fengtai District, Beijing. It is the training place for the national team to prepare for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. It includes speed skating hall, roller skating hall, comprehensive wind tunnel laboratory, skiing wind tunnel laboratory, Six degrees of freedom one hall, rehabilitation center (swimming pool) and many other venues. The base is the first training venue to be put into use among the supporting venues for the Beijing Winter Olympic Games in 2022. it is also the athlete training base with the most complete facilities and the highest scientific and technological content in China and the forefront of science and technology to help the Olympic Games. The project won the National Quality Engineering Award "Luban Award", China Steel Structure Gold Award and other honors.

As Asia's first built and put into use ice-making technology venue with CO₂ as the carrier, the base speed skating hall consists of a 400m avenue speed skating and two 61 × 31m ice rinks in the inner circle, with an ice area of 9400 ㎡. The project team innovates ice making technology and adopts carbon dioxide "phase change refrigeration" technology. The temperature difference of the whole ice surface is accurately controlled within 0.5 ℃, and the three ice surface areas are controlled separately. Compared with the traditional process, the technology saves about 30% of energy, saves more than 200 million degrees of electricity every year, and saves nearly 3 million yuan. Seamless steel pipes were laid on the ice-making ground for nearly 100000 meters, and more than 16000 welds were welded on site. All the flaw detection tests were qualified.

As one of the new venues for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, it is the "three most" projects in the construction of the Winter Olympics venues. There are seven ski trails in the venue, including three race trails and four training trails. The starting point is the main ski trail of the National Alpine Ski Center at the top of Xiaohaituo Mountain at an altitude of 2198 meters. It is called the "jewel in the crown" of the Winter Olympics ". The project won the National Quality Project Award "Luban Award".

Faced with the difficulties of large installation volume, many systems and complete specialties, the project team planned in advance and achieved various management objectives with high quality and efficiency.

In view of the problem of high density of steel bars in PS200 snowmaking pump room, the project actively innovates the technological practice. The "flexible metal wire protection sleeve" is adopted in the reserved and embedded project of electrical piping, breaking the traditional technological practice of using professional pipe benders to bend steel pipes, ensuring the construction quality while greatly saving the construction time and cost, and speeding up the construction progress.

In the construction of this ski stadium with the highest standard and the most difficult to build in history, the project builders gave full play to the spirit of the urban construction iron army to fight and win. After more than 1000 days and nights of hard work, the grand blueprint has been turned into the most beautiful Winter Olympic snow track.
