Recently, China Construction Metal Structure Association released the list of winning projects of the 15th "China Steel Structure Gold Award" (the second batch) and "China Steel Structure Gold Award of the year Outstanding Project Award". The Beijing City Sub-central Housing Project (0701 Block) nine-year consistent school plot project (Beijing No. 1 Experimental School) undertaken by Beijing Urban Construction North Group won the "China Steel Structure Gold Award", the highest quality award in the field of steel structure construction in China!

  

 

As a key project of Beijing's "three 100" in 2022, the Beijing No. 1 Experimental School Project is a new high-quality education demonstration school built by Beijing for the city's sub-center, providing a Beijing sample for the 2035 of China's educational modernization. The total construction area of the project is 100244.35 square meters, with underground concrete frame structure and above ground steel frame structure. The overall design of the school adopts international cutting-edge advanced concepts, and has a complete range of comprehensive supporting facilities such as indoor basketball halls, comprehensive sports halls, theaters, drama classrooms, and swimming pools, which can meet the teaching needs of 3840 students in grades 1 to 9.

The main building of the 1#~ 9# teaching building of the project is a multi-storey steel structure public building with a total area of 74000 square meters, of which the total weight of the roof net frame of the basketball hall and the comprehensive training hall is 55t, which is a joint net frame of welding ball and bolt ball mixed ball.

The single-layer steel structure of the project has a large area and various structural forms. Large-span transfer truss, grid frame scattered at high altitude, installation and welding are extremely difficult; Box columns are connected by core cylinder flanges, which have high requirements for processing and installation accuracy.

Through BIM technology, the project team implements full life cycle management, focuses on in-depth optimization of steel structure design, optimizes nodes and structures according to structural characteristics, and prepares more than ten special construction plans for steel structures under the condition of meeting design requirements, providing sufficient technical support for engineering construction. And through the raw material witness sampling retest, processing size and welding quality control. Through careful organization, fine management and strict control of the project team, the smooth completion of the project construction objectives was finally ensured.

The project team continues to carry out scientific and technological innovation in the construction of the project, forming a number of scientific and technological achievements and practical applications. In the "Research on High-efficiency Assembly Construction Technology of Steel Structures", "Column-to-column connection innovation adopts the node mode of combining flange plate high-strength bolt connection with built-in core cylinder self-tapping bolt connection" to realize on-site installation welding-free, fast and efficient assembly, and has been identified to reach the leading level in China. The QC achievement "Improving the Qualified Rate of Installation of Steel Bar Truss Floor Plate" won the Class I achievement of Beijing Engineering Construction Quality Management Team in 2022.
