Erqi Factory National Ice and Snow Project Training and Research Base Speed Skating Hall has built Asia's first CO₂ ice speed skating hall, Asia's largest ice surface, Beijing's first avenue speed skating hall, and the first Winter Olympics supporting project put into use. The project has applied for one invention patent and two utility model patents, and completed the comprehensive construction technology research on the transformation and reuse of steel structure components of old industrial buildings, which has been appraised by the expert group of Beijing Municipal Commission of housing and urban rural development, reaching the international advanced level.
