Lively! Tunxi River Street in Huangshan City has opened!

On October 1, the opening ceremony of Tunxi River Street was held in Tunxi, the central city of Huangshan City, Anhui Province, on the banks of the beautiful Xin'an River. Since July 31, 2020, the construction of the project started, which lasted 26 months of meticulous carving, Tunxi River Street was unveiled, and it was officially opened to the public.

In recent years, Huangshan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government have implemented a comprehensive upgrading project for Tunxi Old Street, taking the original Tunxi River Street area as the main body to rebuild the Huizhou Cultural and Cultural Tourism District in this area, and the district still uses the name of Tunxi River Street to shape the "new business card" of Huangshan City ". The total investment of the project is about 1 billion yuan, with a total land area of 3.6 hectares and a construction area of nearly 50000 square meters. Beijing Urban Construction Group undertakes the construction task, and Beijing Urban Construction North Group participates in the construction in EPC mode.

The project has 22 new antique buildings, 5 ancient wooden structures and 1 existing building for repair and reinforcement, totaling 28 single buildings. As the core part of Tunxi Old Street Comprehensive Upgrading Project, in order to better inherit and continue Huizhou's historical and humanistic charm and create a new benchmark for Tunxi Old Street's cultural tourism, during the construction process, the project management team made every effort to be the vanguard of Beijing state-owned enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta. In view of practical difficulties, the project management team determined the time limit for several key nodes such as design, foundation pit support, floor pouring and structural capping, and fully considered the new crown epidemic and various unfavorable factors, formulate construction plans for key processes to escort the project node goals.

Now, after more than two years of unremitting efforts by the project team, various construction tasks have been completed with high quality and efficiency, recreating and activating "river street culture" and "wharf culture", and recreating the prosperous scenery of "flowing Qingming Shanghe Tu. The completion and opening of Tunxi River Street has not only played an important role in improving the quality of the waterfront tourism space of Tunxi Old Street, building new landmarks in the city, and continuing the heritage of Huizhou culture, but also promoting the transformation and upgrading of urban tourism and building an ecological type with high standards. International world-class leisure and vacation tourism destination cities are also of great significance.
