The National Ice and Snow Sports Training and Research Base (West District of Erqi Locomotive Factory), built by Beijing Urban Construction North Group, is located in Fengtai District, Beijing. It is a training ground for the national team to prepare for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, including speed skating hall, roller skating hall, staff dormitory, comprehensive wind tunnel laboratory, ski wind tunnel laboratory, six degrees of freedom one hall, six degrees of freedom two hall, rehabilitation center (swimming pool) and many other venues. The base is the first training venue to be put into use among the supporting venues for the Beijing Winter Olympic Games in 2022. it is also the athlete training base with the most complete facilities and the highest scientific and technological content in China and the forefront of science and technology to help the Olympic Games.

　　

 

Among them, the base speed skating stadium has built Asia's first CO₂ ice making stadium, Beijing's first avenue speed skating stadium, and the first Winter Olympics supporting project put into use; the base comprehensive wind tunnel laboratory is the first domestic The first comprehensive sports training wind tunnel fills the gap that there is no large-scale comprehensive wind tunnel dedicated to sports training and testing in China.
