On July 1, 1983, 30,000 soldiers of the Beijing Headquarters of the Infrastructure Engineering Corps collectively took off their uniforms and formed the Beijing Urban Construction Engineering Corporation (the predecessor of Beijing Urban Construction Group).

The company established Beijing Urban Construction North Deyuan Real Estate Co., Ltd. to promote the integrated development of development and construction starting from the Jiangyan project in Jiangsu Province.
