  News from our newspaperRecently, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development organized a special organization to appraise the results of the group's two scientific and technological achievements-"Research and Application of Seamless Construction Technology for Concrete in Pressure Layer of Avenue Speed Skating Plate" and "Research and Application of Optimized Design of Long-span Steel Grid Frame Based on Grid Encryption Technology. Wang Zhenxing, deputy general manager and chief engineer of Beijing Municipal Commission of housing and urban construction, attended the meeting.

The experts of the appraisal committee listened to the on-site report, and after questioning and discussion, they unanimously agreed to pass the appraisal. The results of "Research and Application of Seamless Construction Technology for Concrete in Pressure Layer of Avenue Speed Skating Plate" have reached the international advanced level, and the results of "Research and Application of Optimization Design of Large-span Steel Grid Frame Based on Grid Encryption Technology" have reached the domestic leading level.

The two scientific and technological achievements are based on the project of Saihanba National Ice Project Training Center in Chengde, Hebei Province. Among them, the topic of "Research and Application of Seamless Construction Technology for Concrete in Pressure-bearing Layer of Avenue Speed Skating Ice Plate" aims at the difficult problem of overall pouring of 12600 ㎡(70m × 180m) seamless and freeze-thaw resistant concrete. Through the research on structural structure, raw materials and mix proportion, as well as the optimization and fine management of construction technology, the crack resistance and freeze-thaw resistance of concrete in pressure-bearing layer of ice plate are improved, and meet the design and use requirements. The topic "Research and Application of Optimal Design of Large-span Steel Grid Based on Grid Encryption Technology" innovatively proposes the optimal design and supporting construction method of "lower chord grid encryption, upper chord special compression bolt sleeve" for the original "bolt ball welding ball" hybrid node grid design scheme, realizing the assembly construction of all members and nodes of the grid structure without welding. The two scientific and technological achievements have strong innovation, obvious economic and social benefits, and have significant industry promotion and application value.(zhang you-zhen)
