Hunan Zhuzhou Smart Rail Starts Trial Operation

Recently, news came from Zhuzhou Transportation Bureau that from March 30, Zhuzhou bus rapid transit corridor Hunan Gongda Station to Zhuzhou Railway Station West Square (intelligent rail transit system) will start trial operation.

Zhuzhou bus rapid transit corridor adopts the world's first common bus plus smart tram integration scheme, which integrates common bus into smart track corridor, improves corridor passage and utilization efficiency, and reduces the interweaving influence of common bus and social vehicles. The total length of Zhuzhou intelligent rail transit project is about 14.6 kilometers, including 15 stations. The Municipal Division of the Group undertook 6.7 kilometers of the construction route, including 8 smart rail stations (of which Zhuzhou Station is a temporary station) and 2 pedestrian underground passages. It involves road widening on both sides of the section, new construction and reinforcement of water supply and drainage pipelines, station structure, decoration and decoration works, and construction of pedestrian underground passage in the central square. Zhuzhou, as a southern city, has a long rainy season, which puts great pressure on the site construction. At the same time, the site is located in the urban area, with high traffic and pedestrian pressure and high vegetation coverage, so the site demolition and renovation need to be solved in coordination. Since entering the site in early August 2020, the group's project management team has actively engaged with various property rights units and relevant government departments to overcome the difficulties of narrow and scattered construction work in the city center, serious work efficiency reduction, many interference factors in urban construction, and complicated underground pipelines, fully promote the progress of the project construction, and ensure delivery at the time specified by the government.
