Hunan Zhuzhou smart rail starts trial operation

Recently, a message came from Zhuzhou Transportation Bureau that the trial operation of Zhuzhou Bus Rapid Transit Corridor from Hunan University of technology station to Zhuzhou railway station west square (intelligent rail transit system) will be started from March 30.

Zhuzhou Bus Rapid Transit Corridor adopts the world's first integration scheme of ordinary bus and smart tram, which integrates ordinary bus into smart rail corridor, improves the passage and utilization efficiency of corridor and reduces the interweaving impact of ordinary bus and social vehicles. Zhuzhou intelligent rail transit project is about 14.6km long, including 15 stations. The municipal business department of the group has undertaken the construction route of 6.7 kilometers, including 8 smart rail stations (including Zhuzhou Station as a temporary station) and 2 pedestrian underpasses. It involves road widening on both sides of the section, new construction and reinforcement of water supply and drainage pipelines, station structure, decoration works and the construction of pedestrian underpass in the central square. As a southern city, Zhuzhou has a long rainy season, which puts great pressure on the on-site construction; At the same time, the site is located in the urban area, with high traffic and pedestrian pressure and high vegetation coverage. The on-site demolition and reconstruction needs to be solved in coordination. Since entering the site in early August 2020, the group's project management team has actively cooperated with all property rights units and relevant government departments to overcome the difficulties of narrow and scattered construction operation in the city center, serious work efficiency reduction, many interference factors in urban construction, complex underground pipelines and so on, fully promote the progress of project construction and ensure that it is delivered at the time node specified by the government.
